A report lands at 9 pm. Now what?
Abbreviations and ranges written for clinicians. FollowThrough Health explains every line in plain words.
Each result is checked against the lab's own range. Results outside it are ones to talk to your doctor about; how far outside does not decide urgency. A level labs often treat as urgent, or emergency symptoms written in the report, gets a contact-your-doctor-today or emergency-care message.
Questions written from your numbers, and a short one-page brief for your doctor.

Put DEID and the patient reference in the subject, for example DEID REF-1042: right after DEID, the letters REF, a dash and 3 to 10 digits you make up (never initials).
